Su’s journey into the world of hairdressing and beauty began during her school days, where her passion was evident as she cut hair for friends during lunch breaks. After completing her education, she embarked on an apprenticeship at Nottingham’s prestigious Keith Hall salon.

Dedication and talent led Su to achieve her hairdressing level two qualification and eventually become a salon manager in a city salon. Life took an exciting turn when she got married and relocated to Wolverhampton. Balancing family life and her career, Su began offering mobile hairdressing services while also working part-time at a reputable Wolverhampton salon, specializing in Afro Caribbean hair.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to empower others, Su pursued her level 3 qualifications in both hairdressing and beauty and obtained a teaching degree. For seven years, she shared her expertise as a teacher at Wolverhampton College, shaping the skills and careers of future hairdressers and beauty therapists.

In 2015, Su turned her lifelong dream into reality by opening Ooh Hair & Beauty in Sedgemore Park. Her salon represents the culmination of her passion, fashion, and dedication to making clients not only look good but also feel good. Su understands the importance of providing a listening ear, being a confidant, and delivering exceptional service.

As the owner of Ooh Hair & Beauty, Su envisions a future where she can impart her high-level skills to her own staff.
